V spoločnosti Knauf Insulation pôsobí od roku 2009 ako manažér pre verejné záležitosti, zodpovedný za Českú republiku a Slovensko a o rok na to prevzal zodpovednosť aj za širšiu stratégiu v oblasti udržateľnosti. Od začiatku sa aktívne podieľal na práci Prípravného výboru SKGBC a neskôr zastupoval svoju spoločnosť aj v prvom riadne zvolenom Predstavenstve SKGBC 2011/2012. Vzhľadom na jeho expertízu sa aktívne podieľal na činnosti Legislatívnej pracovnej skupiny a formovaní spolupráce s Inštitútom pre energeticky pasívne domy. Taktiež reprezentoval SKGBC na viacerých zasadnutiach Európskej siete Svetovej rady pre zelené budovy (World GBC). Ondřej Šrámek zastupuje Knauf Insulation vo viacerých obchodných asociáciách, vrátane Českej rady pre šetrné budovy, kde vedie pracovnú skupinu pre udržateľné materiály. Zasadil sa aj o vznik iniciatívy Šance pro budovy, spájajúcej vyše 100 spoločností, ktoré lobujú za lepšie budovy a modernizáciu stavebníctva.

Misia v SKGBC:
“Hlboko verím v budúcnosť zeleného biznisu. Je jasné, že súčasný ekonomický model plýtvania nie je dlhodobo udržateľný, ale nesmieme o tom iba hovoriť. Naša civilizácia si príliš zvykla na komfort a dobrovoľné obmedzovanie je príťažlivé len pre menšinu. Aby sme ovplyvnili väčšinu, musíme navrhnúť riešenia, ktoré sú efektívne, udržateľné a zároveň príjemné. V prípade budov to môžeme urobiť už dnes. Ale aj trh udržateľnej výstavby a zelených technológií je postihnutý fragmentáciou, príliš úzkym zameraním a nedostatočnou koordináciou tlaku na vlády ako aj slabou osvetou verejnosti. Rady pre zelené budovy po celom svete sa snažia tento problém vyriešiť. Som rád, že SKGBC zaplnila doterajšiu medzeru na slovenskom trhu a som pripravený podieľať sa na tomto procese ďalej.”

Profile:
Ondrej Sramek has joined Knauf Insulation in 2009 as Public affairs manager responsible for the Czech Republic and Slovakia and in 2010 he has also assumed responsibilities in broader corporate sustainability strategy. Since the beginning, he has been actively involved in the SKGBC preparatory steering committee and he has served as a member of the first board of Slovak Green Building Council in 2011/ 2012. Given his expertise, he has been involved in legislative working group and in forming an alliance with Slovak Passive House Institute. He also represented SKGBC at several World GBC meetings. Ondrej is active also in several Czech trade associations including Czech Green Building Council, where he chairs working group on sustainable materials. He was also actively involved in forging the Chance for Buildings initiative, a joint activity of CZGBC and Czech passive house center to lobby for better buildings.

Mission SKGBC:
“I am a strong believer in the future of the “green business”. It is clear that our current wasteful economic model is no longer sustainable, but just saying it (as green activists do) will not change much. Our civilization grew too used to the comfort it brings and voluntary self-restriction will always appeal only to small minority. To move the majority, we have to develop solutions that will be more efficient and sustainable (or “green”) AND more comfortable at the same time. With buildings we can already do that today.
Our industry however suffers from fragmentation and lack of coordination. As an industry we are still immature in not being able to defining common intersts and then speaking with one strong voice to the governments. Green Building Councils around the world bring green businesses across the entire value chain together and try to remedy these problems. I am very happy that the SKGBC now filled the gap in Slovakia and has established itself very well in the first year. There is lot more to be done, however, and I offer my experience and skills to contribute."
